The Prime Minister inaugurated the universal pension system

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, “To ensure a better and better life for everyone, the universal pension system was inaugurated.”

The Prime Minister said this while inaugurating the universal pension system by connecting virtually from the official residence Ganabhaban on Thursday. Khabar- Basas

During the inauguration, the Prime Minister said, ‘We have launched the pension scheme so that every person of the country can live a better life. Initially, four out of the six schemes Pragati, Protection, Equality and Pravasi have been inaugurated. The other two will be launched later.’

Sheikh Hasina said, “I request the people of Bangladesh to continue to trust, believe and love me in the days to come.”

The head of government said, “Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s only goal was to give a better life to the countrymen, for which he dedicated his entire life.”

Regarding the universal pension system, Sheikh Hasina said, ‘We have launched the universal pension system in the month of mourning. Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Mother Banga will rest in peace by seeing our efforts to provide a better and better life to the people.’

The Prime Minister seeks prayers from the people to complete the unfinished works of his father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in order to make the life of every citizen meaningful. He commented that the country’s freedom given by Bangabandhu will be in vain if we fail to give better and better life to every people of the country.

Sheikh Hasina said, ‘We will not let the freedom of the country fail, it will not fail and it has not failed. Following his (Bangabandhu’s) ideals, we got the status of a developing country from a less developed country.’
