In Chapainawabganj organized by Islamic Foundation, a discussion meeting, Quran reading and Special prayer ceremony were held on the occasion of the 48th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day-2023 of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founder of Islamic Foundation. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Agriculturist Ahmed Mahbub-ul-Islam spoke as the chief guest at the discussion meeting held at the Sadar Upazila Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center auditorium on Monday afternoon.
Discussed as a special guest – Deputy Director of DNC, Chapainawabganj Mohammad Anishur Rahman Khan; General Secretary of Bangabandhu Parishad, Chapainawabganj District Branch & Assistant Regional Director of Bangladesh Open University, Sub-Regional Center Chapainawabganj Shamsuzzaman Babu. Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation Chapainawabganj, agriculturist Mahmudar Rahman presided.
The negotiators discussed the life and work of Bangabandhu in detail and urged them to devote themselves to the work of patriotism by being inspired by Bangabandhu’s ideals.
The prayers were conducted by the Imam of District Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre Maulana Mukhtar Ali. Imams and dignitaries of different mosques participated in the discussion.
