A worshiper named Zainal Abedin (52) died while performing Friday prayers in Kamalganj of Moulvibazar district.

This incident took place at Munsibazar Central Jame Mosque in Munsibazar Union of Upazila on Friday (August 11).

The deceased Zainal Abedin is a resident of Chunghar village of Kulaura upazila and head teacher of Chunghar Government Primary School.

It is known that due to the wedding of a close relative, everyone along with the groom came to pray at the central Jame Masjid of Munsibazar. While praying, he suddenly suffered a heart attack and collapsed on the floor of the mosque. After the prayer, the local Muslims took him to a hospital in Moulvibazar district city, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Munsibazar Union Parishad Chairman Engineer Nahid Ahmed Tarafdar confirmed the truth of the incident and said that he was praying next to me in the mosque. He suddenly collapsed in prayer due to a heart attack. After being sent to the hospital, the doctor declared him dead.
