A fair election is not possible in the country unless the current government leaves: 12 party alliance

The leaders of the 12-party top alliance have claimed that fair elections are not possible in the country unless the current government leaves.

They said these things in a short rally before the mass march in the capital’s Vijayanagar on Friday afternoon.

Chairman of the 12-party alliance Jatiya Party (Zafar) President Mustafa Jamal Haider spoke at the rally, the spokesman of the alliance Kalyan Party Chairman Bir Muktijodha Major General (retd) Syed Muhammad Ibrahim Bir Prateek. Jatiya Party Joint Secretary General ASM Shamim presented overall coordination and assembly.

Mustafa Jamal Haider said that today’s rally is being held under the simultaneous program of BNP and other parties and alliances in the movement to overthrow the government under the leadership of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP. The country and the world are seeing that the majority of the people of the country have continued to protest on the streets for a long time to demand elections under a neutral government through peaceful meetings and processions. The movement to demand people’s right to vote will continue until the demand is met.

Syed Muhammad Ibrahim said, ‘Relying on foreigners to bring down Hasina’s government is not realistic. This government should be dismissed through a united movement. Bank robbery is going on in the country today. 50 thousand crore rupees have been laundered from six banks of the country. They should be hanged. Then there is no need to resign. We are and will remain on the streets until this demand is met.’

At the end of the rally, the procession took out from the road adjacent to the Vijayanagar water tank, which ended at the Shantinagar intersection, demanding the resignation of the government and the holding of the 12th National Assembly elections under a non-partisan neutral government.

Top leaders of the 12-party alliance including Saleuddin.
