He said that the sign of humanity and civilization in the country is continuously being erased because democracy is pointless. Government-backed law enforcement agencies are now rampant in suppressing the opposition. The only purpose of maintaining fear and apprehension in the country is that no one should have the courage to protest against the illegal and arbitrary rule of the Awami government. In the statement, Mirza Fakhrul called for the immediate withdrawal of the case filed against Abu Yusuf Selim and his unconditional release.
