BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that Awami League wants to come to power by force and control the administration. He said, “Shooting has started now. Not allowed to stay at home at night now. Appeared with a warrant for a false case.

The aspirations of the people of the country cannot be suppressed by making false cases, missing cases, shooting with friends-pistols, injuring, killing and disappearing.

Questioning the judicial system, Fakhrul said, ‘Bail is not being given in absentee cases. Being sent to prison. Torture is also happening in prisons. It seems like we are living in medieval barbaric times. These things cannot continue in a civilized democratic country.

Regarding the sentence of Tariq Rahman and Zubaida Rahman, he said, ‘When people have woken up to demand the resignation of the government, the aim of the government with this verdict is to mislead the people. To flow this movement in different sectors.

Mirza Fakhrul commented that the statements made by the ruling Awami League leaders about giving fair elections are like ‘submitting chickens to foxes’.
