In Sylhet, a teenage gang took a couple of lovers. They have been missing ever since. This has created a commotion in the local community. It is reported that they are missing since last 9 days. The relatives of the loving couple are in extreme trouble.

It is known that Mangalika Das, daughter (lover) of deceased Sudhanshu Das of Dharmadei village of Baralekha police station of Moulvibazar district and Ripon Malakar, son (lover) of father-Surendra Malakar of Purba Shankarpur village of the same upazila developed a love relationship between them. At one point, the lover Ripon left his home area with his lover Mangalika along with his brother Shubo Das and mother Prathana Rani Das and moved to the rented house of Lawai Nizam Mia in South Surma Thana area of Sylhet. There, the lover Ripon continued to spend the night with his mother-in-law brother-in-law without marriage. In the midst of this alleged love affair, Ripon’s lover got in touch with some youth gangs in the local South Surma area. In good faith, Ripon used to hang out with the gang every night at his tenant Nizam’s house. Ripon paid no heed to his mother-in-law and brother-in-law’s objections. Ripon paid rent for two months even though he lived in a rented house for four months. He could not pay the rent for the remaining 2 months due to shortages. In this situation, the youth gang forcibly took away the loving couple from Nizam Mia’s extravagant house on July 26. Since then, the loving couple has disappeared. They do not meet anywhere. Relatives of the couple are deeply concerned about it. However, Mangalika’s mother Prathana Rani Das informed the matter to the Dakshin Surma police station. This has been confirmed by a related source of Thana police.
