On Wednesday (August 2), the young woman named Rouhani Akhtar was married to Murad Hasan, the son of Harun Pradhan of Khasbari village of Hossainpur union of Palashbari upazila of Gaibandhar. Both parties and local public representatives and dignitaries were present. The marriage was performed by Moazzem Tariqul Sheikh of Khasbari Jame Masjid.
Earlier on Tuesday (August 1) morning, Rouhani Akhtar was staying at Murad Hasan’s house to get his wife’s recognition.

According to local sources, Murad Hasan, son of Harun Pradhan of Khasbari village of Hossainpur union, developed a love relationship with Ruhani Akhter, daughter of Rafiqul Islam of Akbarnagar village of the same union. In continuation of this, a few months ago, the lover Murad Hasan secretly registered the marriage of his lover Rouhani in Kabinmule. At present, Murad Hasan said that if their registry becomes known, he will not take the girl home and will not give her the status of his wife. Unable to find a way, Rouhani started staying at the house of his lover Murad Hasan on Tuesday (August 1) morning to demand the recognition of his wife.

In this regard, the boyfriend Murad and the girlfriend Rouhani said that we had a social marriage on Wednesday night. We ask everyone to pray for us to live happily and peacefully.
