It is said that 2 thousand 589 people were admitted to various public and private hospitals of the country from 8 am on Wednesday to 8 am on Thursday. Among them 1 thousand 101 residents of Dhaka and 1 thousand 488 people outside Dhaka. Besides, 9 out of 10 people who died in 24 hours are residents of Dhaka. Another one is a resident outside Dhaka.

From January 1 to August 3 this year, 59 thousand 716 people were affected by dengue. Among them, 32 thousand 562 people are residents of Dhaka. 27 thousand 154 people were admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka. At the same time, 50 thousand 223 people have been discharged from the hospital. Among them 27 thousand 686 residents of Dhaka and 22 thousand 537 people outside Dhaka.

According to the data of the Department of Health, the total number of deaths due to dengue last year was 281 people and the total number of infected people was 62 thousand 382 people.
