In Kulaura of Moulvibazar, the district intelligence branch (DB) has arrested a drug dealer including ganja.

On Tuesday (August 1), a team of DB under the leadership of District Detective Shatha (DB) SI Tofazzal Hossain arrested a drug dealer named Dwip Narayan Kanu from Baramchal Cha Bagan area of Kulaura Upazila. Meanwhile, the DB members recovered 800 grams of ganja from the custody of the arrested Dwip Narayan. The arrested is the son of Baldev Kanu of Baramchal tea garden in Narayan Kanu upazila.

District Detective Shatar Officer-in-Charge Md Ashraful Islam said that the arrested Dwip Narayan Kanu is a known drug dealer. A case was filed against him under the Narcotics Control Act and he was sent to jail through the Moulvibazar District learned court.
