Sarees and lungis have been distributed to poor people at Srimangal of Moulvibazar by the initiative of Faizul Islam, expatriate of UK.
London expatriate Faizul Islam distributed saris and lungi among the poor and helpless women and men on the occasion of the birthday of British expatriate Faizul Islam at Srimangal Upazila Press Club on Wednesday afternoon. General Secretary Bikul Chakraborty, MyTV Moulvibazar representative Sanjay Kumar Dey, Prothom Alo Srimangal representative Shimul Tarafdar, press club organizing secretary Kaushar Ahmad Rion, NTV UK representative Pintu Debnath, Newnation Srimangal representative Al Ibrahim and others were present in the press club. At this time, he gave an umbrella to the journalists.
Faizul Islam said, on the occasion of his 50th birthday, he took this initiative on the advice of his sons and daughters and friends.
Although Faizul Islam has been living in London with his family for a long time, he comes to the country every year and does various social activities. In the meantime, he has extended his hand of help to about 6 poor girls by marrying them at his own expense, distributing hundreds of tubals and building houses.
