Bandarban University Inter-Departmental Football Tournament-2023 concluded and prize distribution was held.Last Wednesday (July 26) two games were held including the tournament opener.The final match of the tournament was held on Thursday (July 27) at the Bandarban District Stadium ground.In the final match,BBA-HTM Division defeated GDS Division by 3-0 to become championsThe main theme of the tournament Was ‘Football is a mind game-As well as strategy-Run with your feet-football football”.

Bandarban University Vice-Chancellor (Acting) Professor Dr.M.Nurul Islam was present as the chief guest in the final and award distribution ceremony.Dean of School of Business Administration Professor Dr.Kazi Ahmed Nabi was the special guest.TAM Omar Farooq,convener of the tournament management committee,Sohrab Hossain,coordinator and lecturer of the tournament management committee, lecturer Wahidur Rahman, Saing Saing U Nini, public relations officer Noble Barua and many others were present.

University officials and students were also present.At the end of the scheduled game, the guests gave prizes to the players of the champion and runner-up teams.Held in a festive atmosphere, this tournament was full of intense competition.Ukya Marma of the title winning team was adjudged the best player of the tournament.Also Bimal Tanchangya was adjudged the man of the match in the final.Former cricketer Mahfuzur Rashid Baccu served as commentator.
