SMP Sylhet city’s Shahparan (Rh.) police station area, a housewife was killed by her husband’s upper body stabbing. The police arrested the killer husband in this incident.
The brutal murder incident took place on Friday (July 21) around two o’clock in the afternoon at the victim’s pitralay at the residence of the victim in Shahparan Majortila Nurpur Atalo area.
The deceased wife is Shimla Rani Nath (21), daughter of Jitendra Nath of Noorpur Atalo area of Ward No. 32.
In this incident, husband Biswajit Dev Nath (26) was arrested by the police in front of Khadimpara Zakaria City area.
Biswajit is the son of Nripendra Debnath of Biswambharpur upazila of Sunamganj district. At present, he was living in Biyanibazar House on the side of Noorpur road in Majortila area.
According to local sources, he was doing housework with his mother and a minor child at his wife’s in-laws house yesterday at around two o’clock on Friday. At that time, husband Biswajit came to their home with the intention of killing his wife in a pre-planned manner and pushed the mother-in-law out of the house. Later, after closing the door from inside, he brutally killed his wife and ran away. While running away, he threatened his mother-in-law on the contrary, besides his father, brother and sister, many people are working in the police and can’t do anything to me. Besides, the killer also says that he is killing him by spreading rumors of alienation on the orders of his father. You can’t do anything to me. My family is all police!
In such a situation, when the locals came forward after hearing the self-screams, the murderer escaped. Later, locals rescued Shimla with serious injuries and sent her to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, where the in-charge doctor declared her brought dead.
Meanwhile, on the spot investigation, it has been reported by quoting the locals that they fell in love and got married. But within two months of their marriage, a family conflict arose between them. Swami Biswajit used to spend most of his time with the rascals of the local area without any work. In Tanporan’s family, his wife used to bring him fresh money from Pitralaya thinking about his family. One and a half to two months ago, when such a conflict arose between them, Shahparan (Rh.) police station registered the incident. There, he identified himself as the son of a policeman’s family and kept himself in custody. Apart from this, several recommendations for the killer also came from the Thana police. At that time, the victimized housewife did not get justice. Biswajit started planning to kill him since then. Finally, as per the plan, around 2 o’clock on Friday, he came to his wife’s house in broad daylight and brutally killed her and escaped. Later, when the picture of the murderer went viral on the social media Facebook, the local people of Zakaria City area informed the police about his identity and a team of Shahparan (Rh.) police station was able to arrest him.
Officer-in-charge Abul Khair of Shahparan (Rh.) police station confirmed the truth of this matter. Till the time of writing the report, preparations were going on to file a murder case at the police station.
