In Nalmukh village of Chunarughat upazila, a lecher raped the expatriate’s wife and left her. An influential group has tried to resolve the issue.

When his condition deteriorated on Friday morning, he was admitted to Sadar Hospital around noon. She is the wife of Anu Mia (22) of that village and mother of two children.

The victim’s father-in-law Jalfu Mia told the reporter that he left his daughter-in-law alone at home and went fishing during the storm last Thursday around 11 pm. On this occasion, Afroz Mia, son of Abu Mia of the same village, entered the house and took two children hostage and raped her daughter-in-law. At one point, when the people around them came forward with their screams, Lumpat ran away. If the matter is made known, it is kept adjourned with the assurance of a solution.

Later, when his condition worsened, he was admitted to Sadar Hospital.
