Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, “The government will not obstruct the political program of BNP-Jamaat.” However, they will not be exempted if any destructive activities are repeated.

He said this while inaugurating the running of trains on the newly constructed 72 km dual-gauge double rail line under the Akhaura-Laksam Double Track Project on Thursday afternoon. He inaugurated the railway by connecting virtually from his official residence Ganobhaban. Khabar- Basas

Referring to the violence that took place during the period of 2013-2015, Sheikh Hasina said, “We will not and are not stopping them from doing politics.” But they will not be spared if they set fire to the train again or do any harm to the people.

“There will be cameras everywhere,” he said. If any destructive activity is done, the culprits will be identified and punished appropriately.

Urging the countrymen to protect them from the hands of BNP-Jamaat, he further said, ‘They only know how to destroy, corrupt and loot. But he does not know how to serve the people.
