A grant check of Tk 4 lakh 90 thousand of youth welfare fund has been distributed among 12 youth organizations of Chapainawabganj district. These checks were handed over to the youth organizers in a ceremony organized by the Chapainawabganj district administration and the district office of the youth development department at the district commissioner’s conference room on Tuesday noon. Chapainawabganj Deputy Commissioner AKM Galiv Khan presided over the event and among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner Agriculturist Ahmed Mahbub-ul Islam, Narcotics Control Directorate Deputy Director Anisur Rahman Khan, Chapainawabganj Youth Development Directorate District Office Deputy Director Abdul Mannan, Assistant Director Mizanur Rahman, assistant director Ashiqur Rahman and print & electronic media journalists. Abdul Mannan, deputy director of the district office of Youth Development Department, said that a check of 4 lakh 90 thousand rupees was distributed to 12 selected youth organizations of the district listed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the financial year 2022-23 as a grant for various projects (Cow rearing, Cow fattening, Fish farming, Poultry rearing, Vermicomposting, Nakshi Kantha making, Sewing training and plantation).
