National Member of Parliament for Netrakona 4 Constituency Rebecca Momin (76) is no more. On Tuesday, July 11, around 4:30 in the morning, she died while undergoing treatment at Square Hospital in Dhaka (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun). She was suffering from various diseases related to old age for a long time. Rebecca Momin is the wife of former Food Minister Abul Momen of Netrakona 4 Constituency. She was the trusted ally of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. She was a Member of National Parliament for Netrakona 4 Constituency for three consecutive terms. Village house is in Kaziahati village of Mohanganj upazila of Netrokona. After hearing the news of her death, a shadow of mourning fell between the district and upazila Awami League.
