Srimangal Municipality has started mosquito control program due to increase in mosquito infestation and to prevent various mosquito borne diseases.

On Sunday (July 9), Srimangal Mayor Mohsin Mia Madhu inaugurated the mosquito killing program in various wards of the municipality to prevent mosquito-borne diseases.
The executive engineer of the municipality was present. Zahirul Islam, Councilor Kazi Abdul Karim, Md. Alkash Mia, Chad Uddin and others.

Zahirul Islam said that we conduct various programs for the welfare of the residents including spraying mosquito medicine in every ward of the municipal area to prevent mosquito infestation. Recently, it is seen that mosquito-borne diseases have increased throughout the country. Therefore mosquito control activities have been started in different wards of the municipality.
Municipal Mayor Mohsin Mia Madhu said that mosquito control activities have been started in the municipal area to prevent mosquito-borne diseases and relieve the residents from mosquito infestation. Meanwhile, the mayor ordered the councilors of various wards to quickly carry out mosquito eradication activities.
