BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that there is no chance of reconciliation with the ruling Awami League government. He said, believing them (Awami League), I had dialogue before, I was cheated. Now there is no question.
He said this at a discussion meeting on the 16th founding anniversary of the National People’s Party (NPP) and contemporary political context at DRU on Saturday afternoon.

Mirza Fakhrul said in the discussion meeting, “The government wants to come to power by creating new plots and fooling the people.” Awami League wants to seize power by deceiving the people again. But if the people can vote, Awami League will be politically isolated. Awami League killed democracy after independence.
Commenting on the Awami League doing terrible looting in the country, BNP Secretary General said, ‘Due to the terrible looting, Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani named the Awami League Nikhil Bangla Lutpat Samiti. They are still doing terrible looting. Destroying democracy.
He said, I will appeal to people from all walks of life across the country to move this government to save democracy and the country without any conflict, hesitation or delay. A true people’s government must be established through peaceful agitation.
