Govt wants to push country towards civil war: Rizvi
Dhaka/
Alleging that the government wants to push the country towards a terrible civil war, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint secretary general of BNP, said that no effort can prevent the fall of the government. This time the government has to leave power. Non-partisan neutral government system will be established.
He said these things at a press conference held at the BNP central office in Nayapaltan of the capital on Saturday.
Alleging that there is a plan to punish BNP leaders and activists to prevent the fall of the government, Rizvi said that the people will stop the despicable plot to punish the leaders and activists of the opposition party.
He said, Awami League is a political party which is not rooted in humanitarian environment. That is why they cannot tolerate many opinions and ways. Once in power, the burning desire to stay in power forever makes them violent and bloodthirsty. They have set this example again and again after coming to power.
He said that the illegal Awami government has embarked on a new evil plan to spread an apocalyptic horror. Various activities are going on inside the government to weaken BNP and its affiliated organizations. This time too, the government is using inhumane methods to deprive the people and conduct one-sided elections without voters.
Rizvi said, some signs of the government’s evil blueprint have already emerged. All levels of party leaders including senior leaders are being produced as witnesses in the court in the name of justice. These witnesses are being brought to the docks to be bullied by the police. Witnesses come to testify fearing police threats. But these are such poor people who have not even heard the names of BNP leaders and workers and have not even seen their faces.
He said, in this case, the one who has adopted the method of oppression and oppression the most is DC Prosecution Anishur Rahman, the confidant of the government. He has assumed the role of a motivated Awami party cadre. All these officers are not interested in learning from history. They did not learn from the consequences of the fall of fascism in country after country. They consider themselves unrivaled because they are getting by doing evil deeds. I would like to remind them of the Nuremberg Trials. People are watching everything. People are now ready in all directions. And in a few days, the farewell whistle of Sheikh Hasina’s single coercive rule will sound.
Adviser to BNP Chairperson Abul Khair Bhuia, Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon, Central Leader Dr. were present at the press conference. Rafiqul Islam, Amirul Islam Khan Alim, Monir Hossain, Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, Aminul Islam, Abdus Sattar Patwari, Kazi Rafique etc.
