Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, said, “The government has engaged in a multi-faceted conspiracy to usurp its power by stealing votes in the upcoming parliamentary elections. It is planning to perpetuate the power by undermining the power of the Election Commission. Basically, the obedient EC is a machine to re-elect them.’

Rizvi said these things in a press conference at BNP’s Nayapaltan office on Thursday afternoon. He said that the weak voice of the government leaders is like camphor. Their dialogue is lost in the air before it hits the ground. Rizvi also said that the anger of the ruling group started burning when they heard about the non-partisan neutral government. The leader of BNP said that the MPs passed the Representation of the People Order (RPO) amendment bill on the proposal of the Election Commission by taking away the power to cancel the entire vote.
