The Meteorological Department has said that there may be temporary gusts or gusty winds with a maximum speed of 60 km per hour over 12 regions of the country including Dhaka.

This information was given in the weather forecast for the inland river ports of the country till 1 pm on Tuesday (June 27).

It said that, over Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet regions, temporary gusty winds with a speed of 45-60 km per hour from south southeast with rain or thunder. It may rain. The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

Meanwhile, the weather forecast till 6 pm today said that there may be light to moderate rain/thunderstorm with gusty winds temporarily in most places of Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and many places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. Along with this, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country.

Drizzle has started in different areas of Dhaka since Tuesday morning. People who are going home on Eid holiday have to suffer because of this. There are clouds in the sky.
