Law Minister Anisul Haque said that the Awami League government will conduct fair and impartial elections properly. He said this in response to questions from journalists at Akhaura railway junction station in Brahmanbaria on Tuesday morning.

The minister said, ‘BNP and those who belong to BNP have joked about the elections in the past. Awami League has never joked about elections. The Awami League government will conduct fair and impartial elections in the future as well.

Pointing to BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Anisul Haque said, “He is a patched up Secretary General.” His habit is to talk strangely.

At that time, Akhaura Municipality Mayor and Upazila Awami League General Secretary Takzil Khalif and other leaders and activists were present along with the Law Minister.
