The story behind the murder of Russell in Tegharia village of Lakhai upazila of Habiganj is coming out. He was administered several sleeping pills before being killed. Which is said to be supplied by Pradeep Sarkar, owner of Dayanand Pharmacy in Bamai Bazar. A sensation has been created about this incident. Many say, how does the owner of that pharmacy sell 30 sleeping tablets to the arrested woman without a prescription? Some say that he sold it even after knowing that he had received a large sum of money.
Earlier, Russell Mia was killed on June 2. Later, the killers tried to hide the body by burying it in the ground. Later, Russel Mia’s mutilated body was found in a haor of Bamoi village of Lakhai upazila. Jamila Khatun, wife of deceased Russell, said that there were numerous injuries on the body. In this regard, a case was filed against 12 people in the police station, but his case was not accepted. He was forced to file a case in court on June 11. The court directed the OC of Lakhai police station to inform within 7 days if there is any wrongful death case related to Russell’s murder.
A report from Lakhai police station informed that no case has been registered regarding Russell’s murder. Rasel’s wife, Jamila Khatun Badi, died on Tuesday, June 20, along with Ruma Akhtar, Zakir Hossain, Sumon Mia, Rubel Mia, Palash Mia, Kaushar Mia, Shahjahan Mia, Shamim Ahmed, Shifa Akhtar, Nur Uddin, Milan Mia and Matin Mia of Tegharia village. Filed a case against 12 people. OC registered the case. When the woman was questioned earlier during her arrest, she said that she had an affair with Russell. Russell entertains him that day. At that time, Pradeep Sarkar of Dayanand Pharmacy in Bamai Bazar brought 30 sleeping tablets and killed Russell by tricking him into unconsciousness.
In this regard, Pradeep Sarkar said that sleeping pills were taken from him with prescription.
OC Mohammad Nunu Miah said that the detained Ruma admitted that she had bought sleeping tablets from the pharmacy. The matter is being investigated.
