Upazila Disaster Management Committee meeting was held at Srimangal of Moulvibazar.

The meeting was held in Srimangal Upazila Parishad hall on Tuesday (June 20) under the chairmanship of Upazila Parishad Chairman Bhanulal Roy.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun attended the meeting, Upahela Parishad Women Vice Chairman Mithali Dutta, Srimangal Press Club President Biswajyeti Chowdhury, Srimangal Government Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Sajjad Hossain Chowdhury, Birmuktijoddha Kumud Ranjan Dev, Engineer Shariful Islam, Office Assistant of Project Implementation Office Aminul Islam Bhuiyan, UP Chairman Michlu Ahmed Chowdhury, Abdur Rashid Talukder, Yachin Arafat Rabin, Birmuktijoddha MA Matlib, Ranendra Prasadhan Jahar, Vijay Bunarji etc.

Representatives of various government institutions were also present in the meeting. In the meeting, the local public representatives were advised to be alert to deal with lightning, landslides and flood situations during the monsoon season.
