Sri Sri Jagannath Jew’s Rath Yatra festival was celebrated in Maulvibazar in an atmosphere of religious solemnity by the initiative of various organizations.

Rath Yatra left Srimangal Sri Sri Jagannath Jiur Akhara on Tuesday (June 20) at 3 pm despite the heavy rain. Thousands of pilgrims participated in the Rath Yatra. At the same time, separate chariot processions were held in Moulvibazar Sadar, Kulaura, Baralekha, Juri, Rajnagar and Kamalganj upazilas of the district. On the occasion of this Rath Yatra, fairs are held at various places including Srimangal.
