Debhata upazila’s local healthcare development program has been inaugurated. On Monday, the project opening workshop was held at the Light House Community Center in Sakhipura with the funding of Americas Foundation Inc. Upazila Chairman and Upazila Awami League President Mujibur Rahman was the chief guest. Special guests were Debhata Upazila Executive Officer (Routine Duty) and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Rifatul Islam, Upazila Family Planning Officer Dr. Palash Dutta, Americas Foundation Inc. Country Representative ABM Kamrul Ahsan. Ashar Alor Executive Director Abu Abdullah Al Azad presided. The project aims to build capacity of community clinic workers, increase quality essential health services through improvement of community clinics, build capacity of community health workers and community health care providers to align with government guidelines, support infrastructure development for water, sanitation and hygiene in community clinics, community Therefore, the project will work in an improved referral service system of health centers at the upazila and district level.
