Govt has no foreign currency, dire situation: GM Quader

Jatiya Party (Japa) Chairman and Deputy Leader of Opposition in Parliament GM Quader said, Bangladesh is in a terrible situation. The government has no foreign currency. This government is heavily in debt. Banks are empty, inflation is happening. Millions of rupees are being smuggled abroad.
He said these things in his address as the chief guest at the triennial conference of the District Jatiya Party on the road in front of Muktijoddha Complex in Thanarpool area of Munshiganj on Sunday.
Japa Chairman said that the government is giving mega projects one after another for theft. Meanwhile, the factory is closing due to lack of electricity.
He also said that no people of Bangladesh were against the liberation war. There were some people who were against independence. Names of many who did not fight are in the list of freedom fighters.
District Jatiya Party convener advocate Sheikh Muhammad Sirajul Islam chaired and member secretary. Japa General Secretary Mujibul Haque Chunnu was the main speaker in the conference moderated by Jane Alam Howlader. Among others, Additional Secretary General Sahidur Rahman Tepa, Presidium member Mir Abdus Sabur Asud and others spoke.
