The dead body of a man named Jahangir Mia (45) was recovered from a Dumro tree beside Telikhal river on the west side of Vulkot Adarsh Vidyaniketan in Lamatashi Union of Bahubal.

Yesterday Friday (June 16) around 11 o’clock local people saw the body and informed the police and the body was recovered.

The deceased is the son of deceased Ismail Mia of Ranigaon village of Chunarughat upazila.

Bahubal Model Police Station OC (Investigation) Prajit Kumar said that the relatives of the deceased said that he was mentally disturbed. They couldn’t find him for two days.
He also said that no injuries were found on the body of the victim. The matter is being investigated. The body was recovered and sent to the Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
