A human chain sit-in program and highway blockade program was held on Thursday (June 15) at 10 am at the local Chaumatha junction to protest against the defamatory propaganda on Facebook by the Gaibandha District Women Awami League Organizing Secretary Shyamli Akhtar in the name of Palashbari Press Club General Secretary.

Palashbari Press Club Acting President Ferdauch Mia addressed the meeting, Palashbari Upazila Puja Celebration Council President Nirmal Mitra, NGO Federation General Secretary Suruj Haque Liton, Press Club General Secretary Sirajul Islam Ratan, Saidur Rahman Master, Nurul Islam, Joint General Secretary Masudar Rahman Masud, Ashrafuzzaman.
