Election Commission failed to create a level playing field: Mayoral candidate Babul

Nazrul Islam Babul, Jatiya Party nominated mayoral candidate in Sylhet City Corporation election and convenor of Sylhet Metropolitan Jatiya Party, industrialist and central Jatiya Party member Nazrul Islam Babul said that the Election Commission has failed to create a level playing field. Constantly other candidates are violating the code of conduct. But the Election Commission has no idea.
I have not received any response despite repeated complaints. As a result, I am worried about the election. Still I continue my activities. The people of this city love me, they will elect me as the mayor in the next June 21 election with their deposits, Inshallah.
On Sunday (June 11) afternoon, he made the above comments in response to various questions from journalists present during a public meeting in the city residential area of Orphan School Road, No. 9 Ward of the city, Norshing Tila of Greater Bagbari and other neighborhoods.
