Ukraine claims that several Russian soldiers were swept away by the Dnipro river dam in Kherson province, Ukraine. In this regard, a Ukrainian army officer named Captain Andrei Pidlisny said that many soldiers of the Russian army were killed by being swept away by the water of the dam.

According to this army captain, when the dam was destroyed on Tuesday, “not a single one of the Russian forces could escape.” All their regiments on the other side of the Dnipro River went under water. News from CNN.

Captain Andrei also said that Russia deliberately destroyed the dam to prevent their counterattack.

He said that around three o’clock in the night, the enemy (Russian army) blew up the Kakhovga Hydro Power Plant to raise the water level on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Their goal was to ensure that Ukrainian forces could not launch a counterattack in the near future.

This captain also said that the Russian troops stationed on the eastern bank of the Dnipro river have suffered a lot due to the destruction of the dam. They came to know about these things through drones and their own troops there.

It should be noted that the Russian troops stationed in the areas affected by the dam water were probably not informed in advance. Because an attempt has been made to keep the entire attack a secret.
