CNG driver killed for robbing autorickshaw

The police have solved the mystery of the recovery of the dead body of the auto-rickshaw driver, whose throat was cut in Rajnagar, Moulvibazar. Rajab Ali, the killer of the autorickshaw driver, has been arrested in this incident.
The deceased’s name is Shabuddin. He is the son of Nizam Uddin of Hingazia village of Kulaura upazila. He is an autorickshaw driver by profession.
On May 27, Shahab Uddin, an autorickshaw driver, was killed by Rajab Ali by slitting his throat for robbing the autorickshaw. Later, Rajnagar Thana Police recovered the dead body of the deceased Shahab Uddin. When Shahab Uddin’s wife, who was killed in this incident, filed a murder case against unknown accused, the investigative team conducted a raid and arrested Shahab Uddin’s killer, Rajab Ali.
Rajab Ali told the police interrogation that he killed Shah Uddin by slitting his throat to rob his autorickshaw. In this incident, the police recovered Tk 18,000 from the rented house of Rajab Ali of Mission Boundary house in Kulaura on Wednesday, June 7 afternoon.
According to the Kulaura police station, the police recovered the dead body of autorickshaw driver Shahabuddin from the Hajinagar tea garden of Rajnagar upazila at 10:30 in the morning on May 27. Shahabuddin’s wife Nachima Begum filed a murder case against the unknown accused.
To unravel the mystery of Shahab Uddin’s murder, investigating officer SI Md. Sawkat Masud Bhuiyan immediately visited the spot. At this time, he gave the phone number of Rajnagar police station to the locals and requested them to inform the police station if anyone knows anything about the incident. Later on May 29, an officer of Rajnagar police station called the in-charge’s phone number and informed that he had seen Rajab Ali, the tenant of Brahmanbazar Mission Boundary house, entering the house with blood-stained clothes late at night on the day of the incident. Based on such information, the investigating officer collected the mobile number used by Rajab Ali and analyzed the CDR of his number and arrested Rajab Ali around 10 pm on May 29. Meanwhile, the police found a cut face on the little finger of Rajab Ali’s hand. When Rajab Ali was questioned, his behavior appeared suspicious and he was arrested in the Shahab Uddin murder case. When Rajab Ali, who was arrested on June 5, was brought to the learned court, Rajab Ali told the police that he killed Shahab Uddin and fled with his auto-rickshaw to rob the auto-rickshaw. Later he sold the stolen autorickshaw to Sohel Mia, a Bhangari businessman of Moulvibazar Sadar Thana area for 22 thousand taka. Based on the information given to the court, the police arrested Bangari businessman Ziaul Haque Suhail Mia with the help of information technology. When Bangari businessman Sohel Mia was interrogated, he said that he broke the rickshaw bought from Rajab Ali and sold its parts at different places. Later, based on the information given by the Bangari businessman, the police recovered some parts including 2 batteries of the auto-rickshaw.
