Govt always believes in justice: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the Awami League government has established the rule of law out of the culture of lawlessness.
He said this on Monday when the newly elected leaders of the Bangladesh Supreme Court Lawyers Association went to meet the Prime Minister at Ganabhaban. At this time, he congratulated the newly elected leaders of the Supreme Court.
The Prime Minister said, BNP introduced the culture of lawlessness in the country, by issuing the indemnity ordinance to kill Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family, it introduced the culture of missing murder and lawlessness. After the killing of the father of the nation, I had no right to seek justice, to get justice. It is gross violation of human rights. Today I have been able to free the country from the state of not getting that justice. Awami League government always believes in justice.
He said that the Awami League government has made arrangements for people to get justice. Our government has digitized the judicial system so that people can get justice in a short time without suffering. During Corona, we have made the court virtual so that people can get justice in a short time sitting at home.
The Prime Minister said that currently people are suffering due to electricity in the heat wave, we are trying our best, taking necessary measures.
He said that there has been incredible development in the last 14 and a half years due to continuous democracy in the country. With 14 years of dedicated efforts of Awami League government, Bangladesh has been promoted to a developing country. We are working to make Bangladesh a developed and prosperous country.
