In the administration, three people have been appointed as director of the Prime Minister’s Office and research officer. Besides, the government has promoted 42 employees working in the office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) to the post of Administrative Officer (AO).

Separate notifications have been issued in this regard from the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday. According to the notification, Deputy Director of BCS Administration Academy Rupali Mandal and Deputy Secretary of Finance Department AHM Jameri Hasan have been appointed as Director of Prime Minister’s Office.

Besides, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Bogra Dinesh Sarkar has been appointed as Research Officer of Prime Minister’s Office. Besides, additional deputy commissioner of Sunamganj Sheikh Mohiuddin has been appointed as the private secretary of the chairman of Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission.

On the other hand, as per the recommendation of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC), these 42 Sub-Administrative Officers, Sub-Assistant Administrative Officers (Former Office Superintendent, CA cum Senior Assistant, Principal Assistant, Treasury Accountant, Statistical Assistant, Senior Assistant and Typist cum Computer Operator) ) National Pay Scale 2015 grade 10 (Tk. 16,000-38,640) has been promoted to the post of Administrative Officer.

According to the previous calculation, the administrative officer is the post of second class officer. At present there is no class system in government jobs.
