It has been reported that a mother and daughter were raped in Paschim Vadai village of Habiganj Sadar Upazila. This incident has created a lot of discussion in the district headquarters. Meanwhile, on Sunday morning, the wife (40) and daughter (20) of Jahangir Mia, a Saudi expatriate of that village, were admitted to the Gynecology Ward of Sadar Hospital. However, when the representative went to the hospital and asked for details about it, he initially avoided it, but later gave misleading information, which raised doubts about the matter.

It is known that Abdul Qayyum (45), son of Abdul Mannan of Daulatpur Markuli village of Baniachong upazila, entered Jahangir Mia’s house last Friday night and forcibly raped his wife and daughter. At that time, when people came forward with their screams, Qayyum ran away. However, the sources said that the place of expatriate Jahangir has been occupied by people of the opposite party. There is no way to evict them. The matter may be arranged for this. Meanwhile, after hearing such news, Sadar Circle SP Chadekur Rahman, OC Golam Mortuza went to the spot and started investigation. The OC said that the investigation is going on. Details will be known after investigation.
