An open budget for the financial year 2023-24 has been announced in Kamalganj of Moulvibazar. UP Chairman Abdal Hossain presented the proposed budget of Tk 4 crore 24 thousand 192 of Adampur Union Parishad of upazila on Sunday (May 28). Chairman of Kamalganj Upazila Parishad Bir Muktijoddha Alhaj Professor Rafiqur Rahman was present as the chief guest in the open budget discussion meeting in Union Parishad hall room chaired by UP Chairman.

In the budget proposal, in the financial year 2023-24, revenue income is 61 lakh 99 thousand 892 taka and development income is 3 crore 38 lakh 24 thousand 300 taka, with a total income of 4 crore 24 thousand 192 taka. Kamalganj Press Club Vice President Shabbir Elahi, social worker and businessman Anwar Hossain Babu, Adampur Bazaar Traders Welfare Association President Jahangir Munna Rana, Nainarpar Bazaar Traders Welfare Association President Mojahidul Islam, UP Secretary BK Dev, among others spoke in the budget discussion meeting.
