Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, Joint Secretary General of BNP in Habiganj, said that the storm that the President raised in Pabna is now being raised by BNP across the country. This storm has rung the farewell bell of the government. Soon this undemocratic government will fall.

This was said by Alal in the speech of the chief guest at the public meeting of the district BNP on the 10-point demand in Shaestanagar of Habiganj city at 3 pm today. Speakers in the rally said that BNP leaders and activists cannot be suppressed by filing assault cases. The people of the country are disoriented due to the increase in the prices of goods. So the common people of the country don’t want to see this fascist government anymore.

Meanwhile, thousands of leaders and workers of various organizations including Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal started gathering in front of the temporary office of the district BNP with a piecemeal procession at the city’s Shaistanagar point from noon. Around 3:30 pm, the entire Shaestanagar area including the BNP office was filled to the brim. Strict security measures were taken by the police around the rally. Sadar Model Thana Police can be seen patrolling with armored vehicles loaded with water cannons. Apart from this, additional police were deployed at several points in Shaistanagar. But in the end, the residents expressed their relief that no untoward incident occurred.
