Gaibandha Representative/

Protest marches and meetings were held in Gaibandha on various issues, including the demand for low-cost rations by the laborers in villages and towns.

A representative meeting of Left Democratic Alliance, Gaibandha District Branch was held on Saturday (May 27) at the Gaibandha Public Library hall.

Gaibandha district coordinator of the organization Golam Rabbani gave a speech in the chairmanship of Bajlur Rahman Firoz, coordinator of the central management board of the Left Democratic Alliance, Mihir Ghosh, assistant general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Mosharraf Hossain Nannu, member of the editorial board of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist League, coordinator of the Central Executive Forum of Basad (Marxist). Masud Rana, Ahsanul Habib Saeed, Mostafizur Rahman Mukul, Revati Burman, Sukumar Modak etc.

The speakers said, it is our urgent duty to save the country from the current misrule. Besides, the struggle to establish a socialist society without exploitation through social change should be intensified. Comrades have to risk their lives in the struggle to establish a society of equality. The 10 points of the left alliance should be spread in the villages.

After the meeting, a protest march circled the main streets of the city.
