The driver with CNG was arrested in connection with the death of an army man in a road accident

In Kamalganj of Moulvibazar, the killer driver of the auto-rickshaw was arrested in connection with the death of army man Saifur Rahman due to the impact of CNG in a gas-powered auto-rickshaw. On Thursday (May 25) night, a team of Kamalganj police station under the leadership of sub-inspector of Kamalganj police station Pavitra Shekhar Das raided Rajnagar police station area and recovered CNG (Moulvibazar Th 12-2557) and arrested CNG driver Abdul Matin (25).
It is to be noted that on May 22 at 1:00 pm in Gulerhaor area of Islampur Union on the border of Kamalganj Upazila, an unidentified CNG auto-rickshaw hit the back of Army soldier Saifur Rahman’s motorcycle and he lost control of the motorcycle and hit the Wi-Fi pole on the side of the road. He was seriously injured. Later that day around 5:30 pm the army took him to CMH hospital. He died while undergoing treatment there.
Officer-in-charge of Kamalganj police station Sanjay Chakraborty said, ‘Abdus Sobhan Khan, Saifur Rahman’s father, filed a case at Kamalganj police station as the plaintiff. The accused who was arrested on Friday morning has been sent to jail through the Moulvibazar court.
