Bangladesh in relief against Windies

The hosts are leading by 166 runs at the end of the third day against the Windies ‘A’ team in the second four-day match in Sylhet. The visitors got a lead of 108 runs over Bangladesh’s 237 runs in the first innings. Windies were all out for 345 in their first innings. Bangladesh ‘A’ scored 274 runs for 6 wickets at the end of the third day in the second innings.
The West Indies ‘A’ team started the third day on Thursday with 268 runs for 6 wickets the previous day at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium’s Academy Ground. The team added 77 more runs on this day. Tyaganarayan Chanderpaul got a lead of 108 runs. Sinclair was dismissed for 32 runs but De Silva remained unbeaten on 47 runs. Tanzim Hasan Shakib took maximum 4 wickets for Bangladesh with 59 runs.
Batting in the second innings from 108 runs behind, Sadman Islam (74) and Shahadat Hossain Dipu (50) scored a pair of fifties. Irfan is batting for 64 runs. Irfan put up good resistance in the seventh wicket partnership with Naeem Hasan. Bangladesh ‘A’ scored 274 for 6 so far in the second innings with their unbroken 65-run partnership.
Bangladesh ‘A’ team will aim to give a good target to the visitors on the fourth and final day on Friday.
