The Ministry of Education has ordered the dismissal of 678 teachers who took jobs in various educational institutions using fake certificates. At the same time, it has been ordered to return the money taken by these teachers for salary and seven-point punishment including criminal cases against those concerned. It has been reported that the Directorate of Inspection and Audit (DIA) under the Ministry of Education had previously investigated and identified a total of 1577 people for forgery of certificates. 678 of them have been ordered to be punished. The matter of the rest did not come up for mysterious reasons. However, it has already been alleged that several of them have been acquitted by the ministry as ‘innocent’. Since 2015, the National Teacher Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has recommended recruitment of teachers in public and private educational institutions. Earlier, the respective educational institutions themselves used to appoint teachers by notification. However, there were government representatives in those recruitment boards. Due to this, the question arises, before a teacher is appointed, his documents should be verified by schools, colleges and madrasas. Apart from this, when these teachers are enrolled in the MPO, their documents are still to be verified by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education. But there is no answer as to why it was not verified.

It is alleged that the dishonest officials of the education administration are behind this misdeed. In particular, there is a cabal in the NTRCA, Maushi and the ministry, which certifies teacher registration certificates, who are colluding to protect fake certificate holders. At the same time, it helps to get fake certificates if needed.
