Moulvibazar district and Srimangal upazila Awami League protested against the threat to kill Prime Minister and Bangladesh Awami League President Sheikh Hasina by BNP president of Rajshahi district.

On Monday (May 22), the protest march from the premises of Moulvibazar Shaheed Minar was held in front of Julia Shopping Center in different cities of the city. Member of Parliament of Moulvibazar 3 Constituency Neshar Ahmad, General Secretary of Moulvibazar District Awami League and Chairman of Zilla Parishad Md Mizbaur Rahman spoke at the protest rally.

Municipal Mayor Md Fazlur Rahman, Sadar Upazila Chairman Md Kamal Hossain, Sadar Upazila Awami League General Secretary Abdul Malik Tarafdar VP Soeb, Organizing Secretary Radha Pad Deb Sajal, District Awami League Member MA Rahim Shahid CIP and others were present.
In addition, Upazila Awami League held a protest rally in Choumuhna of Srimangal town. A protest march was taken out after the rally. The procession goes around the important roads of the city and ends at Chaumuhana. Upazila Awami League president Ardhendu Kumar Deb presided over and office secretary Tawajjal Hossain Fayez addressed the Pratibod rally, district Awami League organizing secretary Principal Syed Mansurul Haque, Srimangal Upazila Awami League Acting General Secretary Jagatjyoti Dhar Shubhra, Srimangal Upazila Parishad Chairman and Upazila Awami League. Finance Secretary Bhanulal Roy, Joint General Secretary Enam Hossain Chowdhury Mamun, Upazila Awami League Organizing Secretary Belayt Hossain, Upazila Awami League Freedom Fighter Affairs Secretary Md. Abdul Matlib, Awami League Information Research Secretary Tahirul Islam Milon, Upazila Fisheries Livelihood League President Ashikur Rahman Ashiq, Jubo League Acting General Secretary Nurul Amin, President of Municipal Jubo League Akbar Hossain Shaheen, former General Secretary of Upazila Chhatra League Raju Deb Riton etc.
