Srimangala Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation has rescued a shy monkey from Srimangale locality of Moulvibazar.

Swapan Dev Sajal, director of Wildlife Service Foundation, rescued the shy monkey from a colony in Srimangal Shahibagh residential area at 2 pm on Sunday (21 May).

He said that in the afternoon, the residents of the colony in Shahibagh area got scared after seeing a shy monkey and called the Srimangal police station. Later, Srimangal police station officer-in-charge Jahangir Hossain Sardar informed the Wildlife Service Foundation to rescue the monkey. After receiving the news, Sajal Dev rescued the shy monkey from the colony of Shahibagh area. Wildlife Service Foundation handed over the rescued shy monkey to range officer Shahidul Issam of the Forest Department in the afternoon.
