Steal 7 skeletons from the graveyard

At least seven skeletons were reportedly stolen from a graveyard in Gobindganj upazila of Gaibandha.
On Saturday (May 20) at noon, locals came to know the matter while passing by the cemetery of Baksichar Uttarpara village of Kamardah Union of Upazila.
Locals said that while passing by the cemetery, they first saw the soil of a grave being removed. Later, after visiting the entire cemetery, he found soil removed from six more graves. After stealing the skeletons, the graves were covered again with a little soil. But due to the soil moving in the rain, the bamboo placed on the grave came out. Later it was found that skeletons were stolen from those graves.
Abdul Baki, a local resident, said that the skeletons are believed to have been stolen from the grave after heavy rains on Friday night. The skeletons of the bodies buried about two-three years ago were stolen. I demand that those involved in the theft be brought under the law.
Chairman of Kamardah Union Parishad. Taukir Hasan Rachi said, after learning about the theft of skeletons from the cemetery, I visited the scene. I immediately reported the matter to the police.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gobindganj Police Station. Izar Uddin said that UP Chairman informed about the theft of skeletons from the cemetery. But no one complained. Necessary action will be taken if complaints are received.
