A friendly football match was played between Football Academy Srimangal and Zubed Chowdhury Sports and Football Academy of Kulaura at Srimangal Victoria High School ground.
The friendly match was held on Friday (19 May) at 4 pm at the Victoria High School ground organized by Football Academy Srimangal.
In the game, the first half of the game ended goalless with attacks and counterattacks between Football Academy Srimangal and Zubed Chowdhury Football Academy. In the 50th minute of the second half of the game, Srimangal’s number 9 jersey holder Foreign scored the team’s lead. 4 minutes before the end of the game, Kulaura’s number 9 player Habib scored a goal to equalize the team. In the end, this fiercely contested game ended in a 1-1 goal.
Md. Mahmudur Rahman, Secretary of Moulvibazar Referee Association, spoke during the opening of the game. Former national footballer and football academy coach Ikramur Rahman Bhuysi praised Rana for organizing friendly matches at the Srimangal Victoria High School ground every Friday.
Srimangal Upazila Women’s Vice Chairman Mithali Dutta was present as a guest in the friendly match ceremony under the chairmanship of Football Academy Srimangal coach and former national footballer Ikram Rana and Kamrul Hasan Dolan. Srimangal former Nandit footballer Md. Mosleh Uddin Ramzan, Akbar Hossain Shaheen, Sher Ali Helal Chowdhury, Upazila Jubo League Organizing Secretary Abu Taleb Badsha, Moulvibazar District Referee Association General Secretary Md. Mahmudur Rahman, Srimangal Upazila Referee Association President Kabir Uddin were present as special guests. Sweet, District Referee Association member Babul Mia, Jubel Ahmad etc. After the game, Zubed Chowdhury Sports and Football Academy Kulaura captain and officials handed over the greeting crest to the founder director of Football Academy Srimangal, former national footballer Ikram Rana, former player Sher Ali Helal Chowdhury, Mo Abul Kalam and other guests.
