Three motorcyclists were killed in a road accident in Jessore’s Keshavpur upazila. The accident took place in a collision between two motorcycles at a place called Bujtala on the Keshabpur-Chuknagar highway yesterday on Monday around 8 pm.

The deceased are Jahangir Joaddar (45), son of Abdul Mannan of Betgram, Dumuria upazila of Khulna, his son Mostain (12) and Mustafa (22), son of Abdus Sattar of Malnchi village of the same upazila.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Keshabpur police station Mofizul Islam said that a collision between two motorcycles took place at Bujtala on the Keshabpur-Chuknagar highway in Jessore at around 8 pm. Two people died on the spot. Another person was brought to Keshabpur Upazila Health Complex and later died there. Father and son are among the dead. The bodies have been kept in the upazila health complex.
