A young man named Chadikur Rahman has been accused of assaulting Hasina Akhter Shipa, the female vice chairman candidate of Bahubal Upazila Parishad and general secretary of the district Jatiya Party. This incident has created a commotion.

The incident took place at Bahubal Bazar last Thursday around 11:30 pm. It is said that he informed the upazila executive officer and Bahubal police station.

It is known that Hasina Akhter Shipa was exchanging Eid greetings with traders at Bahubal Bazar at the mentioned time. At that time, a young man named Sadikur Rahman from Bahubal teased him and behaved rudely with him. When the local people chased Chadiqur Rahman on his screams, he ran away. When the matter spread through the media, tension arose. Shipa said that the young man was blackmailing her. He was mentally broken by his torture. Yesterday, he demanded action against Chadikur through a video message from Nirupaya to the administration.

In this regard, Bahubal Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rakibul Islam Khan said that action will be taken if a written complaint is received.
