Demonstration session on cooking techniques of babies was held in Kishoreganj

Kishoreganj Area Program of Nilphamari, World Vision Bangladesh organized a demonstration session on nutrition/healthy food cooking techniques for mothers and caregivers. 50 mothers, caregivers, parents of 50 children under five years of age from that community in South Rajiv village of Kishoreganj UP on Thursday. The session was held throughout the day with the participation of Grandparents. During this session, the overall health, nutrition and WASH status of Bangladesh was discussed and demonstrated. Malnutrition and its effects. Discussion about food types and ingredients and vitamins. Demonstration of various food ingredients. Demonstration. How to prepare balanced meals. Demonstration of cooking techniques for balanced meals. What is anti-corruption? Detailed discussion on what corruption occurs. Campaign to stop gender-based violence against children is discussed. The session was conducted by Jahangir Hossain, Health and Nutrition Facilitator of Kishoreganj Area Program, Suma, Subrina Sarowat, Arnika Akhtar, Farzana Siraj, Sarrin Akhtar etc. Rajib village development committee general member Nazmul Haque, youth member Zubaid Ibn Rubel were present.
