Bogura district of Bangladesh Student Union held a torch march demanding the repeal of the Digital Security Act and the unconditional release of all those detained under the Digital Security Act, including the Jagannath University (JB) student Khadijatul Kobra, and the withdrawal of the case.

On Monday evening, the torch procession started from in front of the district office and circled the main road of the city.

At the end of the torch march, a short protest rally was held under the chairmanship of Chhabbir Ahmed Raj, president of the student union Bogra branch and moderated by general secretary Bayezid Rahman.

General Secretary of CPB Bogra Aminul Farid, TUC Bogra President Md. Fazlur Rahman, President of Farmers’ Association Bogra, Freedom Fighter Santosh Kumar Pal, General Secretary Hasan Ali Sheikh, President of CPB Sadar Upazila Committee Shahniaz Kabir Khan Pappu, District Secretary Mandala Member Sajedur Rahman Jhelam, President of Farm Labor Association Bogra Sadar Upazila Committee Shubo Shankar Guha Roy, Youth Union Bogra General Secretary Saidur Rahman Parvez and others were present.
